Bennington, Vermont is just under five miles west on Route 9 from the Appalachian Trail and Long Trail trailhead where hikers will find plenty of opportunity for resupply and hiker-friendly amenities.

Green Mountain Express Route 9 Trailhead Service for both pickup and drop off, to/from downtown Bennington. Mon - Fri, 10 am - 4 pm. Times are flexible, cost $3/pp one way. You MUST call 802-447-0477 in advance, during regular business hours (do not email) to schedule the ride(s) or for more info. Be realistic about your arrival time as drivers also service community members that need to get to medical appointments.
