This GMC presentation took place in the evening, and was held at a church in Wilmington, VT. Attending from the Bennington Section was Robin, Ann and Billy.
We set up a digital presentation on the screen and greeted about 20 attendees. Our presentation was an overview of the Green Mountain Club, its mission, the sectional organization across the state, and the many activities in which the Bennington Section is involved. We each presented a portion of the presentation and it enhanced the receptivity of the information. The Lions members were enthusiastic: good questions, awareness of the importance GMC and its activities, and interested on how they can subscribe to our newsletters and keep up to date using our Meetup website. We left our GMC section business cards, a couple tri fold brochures and a promise to come back anytime. We welcomed them to join us for any event. Billy introduced our Trail of Fortune wheel and discussed how it will be used in the 4th Annual Appalachian Trailfest, Saturday, July 26th, 2025. Thanks to Kate Follett for creating this memorable visit to the Lions Club in Wilmington.
